Todwong elected to top continental council of political parties 

The NRM Secretary General, Rt. Hon. Richard Todwong, has been elected as one of the eminent persons to the Executive Committee of the Council of African Political Parties (CAPP), an organisation comprising all ruling parties in Africa as well as the major opposition parties in the respective countries.

Rt. Hon. Todwong, together with Dr. Asha Rose Migiro, Secretary General of Tanzania’s Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) party, will serve as Vice Chairperson’s representing East African political parties in the organisation.

This is a proud moment for Uganda, for the NRM, and for East Africa. It is a recognition of Rt. Hon. Todwong’s visionary leadership, commitment to Pan-Africanism, and dedication to strengthening political parties across the continent.
