Police Arrest Suspect in Murder of Afrigo Band Musician Matovu Moses
Police have arrested a prime suspect in connection with the murder of Afrigo Band musician Matovu Moses.
Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson SP Rachael Kawala identified the suspect as 41-year-old Nsamba Vincent, who was arrested following investigations into the circumstances surrounding the musician’s death.
Nsamba was arrested in Ochompo Ward, Yesu Amala Parish, Wakiso District, according to police.
Matovu was attacked by unknown assailants at Kibuli Market Zone B in Makindye Division, Kampala, on Thursday morning. He was rushed to Kibuli Hospital for treatment but later succumbed to his injuries.
Police said investigations into the murder are ongoing.
