Makerere campuser found dead in her room

A somber mood has engulfed Makerere University following the sudden death of a female student whose body was discovered in her room on Saturday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Among Francisca, registration number 24/U/22669, a student pursuing a Bachelor of Science with Education, specializing in Mathematics and Economics.

According to a statement released by the university, Francisca’s body was found in her room before being transferred to the Mulago National Referral Hospital Mortuary for examination and further investigations.

Authorities said the exact cause of death has not yet been established.

The university extended condolences to the deceased’s family, friends, and classmates during this difficult time.
