St Peter’s Nsambya HM accused of faking age
KAMPALA: St. Peter Nsambya Secondary School’s Head Teacher, Remigius Mubiru Mungere, is facing heat over allegations of age falsification and abuse of office following an extended tenure.
Reports suggest that Mr. Mungere was expected to retire in September 2023 but allegedly altered his age to remain in his position for additional years.
Concerns have been raised by insiders about the need for an investigation by the Inspector General of Government (IGG) to address these issues promptly.
Among other accusations also is misuse of school resources, nepotism in employment practices, and mishandling of funds collected for construction purposes.
Despite attempts to reach out for comment, Mr. Mungere has not responded to inquiries.
