Gen Isoke Inspires Youth Against Corruption
ENTEBE. Brigadier General Henry Isoke, head of the State House Anti Corruption Unit (SH-ACU) Friday delivered a powerful message on the fight against corruption to 725 university student leaders in Nkumba University.
Gen Isoke highlighted the detrimental effects of corruption, emphasizing its role in brain drain and hindering national development.
He stressed the importance of leveraging existing legal frameworks and technological solutions to combat corruption effectively, encouraging youth involvement in sensitizing the masses and enforcement officers.
Despite challenges, Gen Isoke showcased Uganda’s progress, citing improved GDP growth and increased life expectancy as achievements.
He underlined the necessity of defeating corruption for national development, commending efforts to promote ethical values and patriotism among the youth.
